Spring Break 2012

We had a wonderful Spring Break! It seemed like it would take forever for the break to get here and today is already the last day! The break was extra special because my parents came in town to spend it with us. The first day that they arrived they surprised Nya by showing up for her Easter play at school! She was beyond thrilled (and it showed in how much she showed off during the play)!

They brought my Aunt Jean to spend time with cousin Steph. We were able to hook up with them throughout the week.

One day we went to Shirlington for some shopping and dinner. So fun!

My parents also really enjoyed exploring around the Bowie/Crofton area. We were able to get some things that we needed for the house and my parents were so helpful about helping me get some order in the house too!

Aunt Jean and Steph joined us for dinner at the house one evening. Between my mom and them, I am putting together a nice arrangement of spring flowers/plants/herbs.

I whipped together some homemade playdough for Nya and everybody enjoyed helping her play in it.

Easter morning...

We went to Lauren's house for Easter brunch. She was an amazing hostess and prepared an amazing mimosa bar! Thanks, Pinterest!
